Jerry Seinfeld tells the NY Post that the Seinfeld cast still likes one another.“There was never any acrimony … We never had any falling out. But, you know, in life, what happens is you’re with certain people at certain times in your life, and then years go by, and people move, and they get families. And sometimes they … go in other directions. My daughter is saying to me, ‘Why don’t I get a text thread of the four of us?’ But [‘Seinfeld’ co-creator] Larry [David] and I had dinner last week. I talked to Julia [Louis-Dreyfus] tonight. I’m seeing Michael [Richards] in a couple weeks.” But “we don’t get together like you want us to.”
Jerry Seinfeld tells the New Yorker that he doesn’t think a Seinfeld finale should have been made. “I sometimes think we really shouldn’t have even done it. There was a lot of pressure on us at that time to do one big last show, but big is always bad in comedy.”
Radar Online claims Nick Lachey and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are feuding on the set of Dancing With the Stars. A source tells the site; “Producers basically forced Maks to put his differences aside and just get along with Vanessa, but not before Maks and Nick had it out. Nick is super protective of his wife and he has been getting into it with other people on the cast who’ve been talking smack about Vanessa, not just Maks! After they threatened to fire Maks, Nick threatened to quit if he heard one more person talk about his wife. It is still a very tense situation backstage.”

Hollywoodlife.com claims Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have no plans to buy Christmas presents for their children. The site quotes them as saying; “Our tradition is no presents for the kids. We’re instituting it this year because when the kids are [younger than] one, it doesn’t really matter. Last year when we celebrated Christmas, Wyatt was two and it was too much. We didn’t give her anything — it was the grandparents. The kid no longer appreciates the one gift. They don’t even know what they’re expecting; they’re just expecting stuff. We’ve told our parents, ‘We’re begging you — if you have to give her something, pick one gift. Otherwise, we’d like to take a charitable donation, to the Children’s Hospital or a pet [or] whatever you want.’ That’s our new tradition.”
Uproxx claims The Rock announced plans yesterday to do a Fast and the Furious spin-off. His announcement read …
Thank you UNIVERSAL STUDIOS for being tremendous partners who see the big picture and for coming to us years ago with this spinoff idea. Huge shout to my brother, Jason Statham for the trust and wanting to create and deliver something fresh and bad ass for the fans.
I have a tremendous amount of respect for this franchise that I’ve enjoyed droppin’ blood and sweat in over the years and my vision is to create greater opportunities for not only my fellow FF cast mates, but for other amazing actors as well who want to be a part of something new and cool.
I want to use my spinoff platform to create new characters that fans will ultimately love to have fun with in multiple chapters and platforms. Film, TV, Digital, Virtual Reality etc.. the more opportunities we can create the better for the fans.
Let’s have some FUN and to quote, Hobbs the boss, if you don’t like it, we’re happy to beat that ass like a Cherokee drum.
