Donald Trump was recently giving a speech when he urged NFL fans to boycott games if players kneel during the National Anthem. He and NFL Commish Roger Goodell Tweeted following his speech …

Donald Trump Tweeted: ”If a player wants the privilege of making millions of dollars in the NFL,or other leagues, he or she should not be allowed to disrespect….our Great American Flag (or Country) and should stand for the National Anthem. If not, YOU’RE FIRED. Find something else to do!”

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said, “The NFL and our players are at our best when we help create a sense of unity in our country and our culture. There is no better example than the amazing response from our clubs and players to the terrible natural disasters we’ve experienced over the last month. Divisive comments like these demonstrate an unfortunate lack of respect for the NFL, our great game and all of our players, and a failure to understand the overwhelming force for good our clubs and players represent in our communities.”

Survey: “Is it un-American not to stand for the National Anthem? Do you agree with how players are trying to raise awareness about race and other issues in America?”

Hollywoodlife.com claims Kevin Hart’s wife Eniko has asked for the passwords to his phone and gadgets because of his cheating scandal. A source tells the site; “Eniko does genuinely believe Kevin loves her and regrets the poor decisions he’s made. His public apology and admission of guilt went a long way to making things right. But there’s still a ways to go. He’s going to have to rebuild the trust because it was pretty much shattered. She wants all his passwords and the right to look at his phone anytime. Now, it’s on him to prove to her that she can trust him.”

Survey: “Should married couples be required to exchange passwords after exchanging vows? Have you ever suspected your partner of hiding something? What happened when you checked their messages? Were you right?”

Dear Fonseca:

My ex-husband is coming over tonight because we recently caught our rebellious 11 year-old son smoking. Several kids at school gave him the cigarettes. My ex-husband says if we ban our son from smoking he will just do it behind our backs. He is suggesting that we allow our son to vape because it is less harmful and a ‘win-win’ compromise for everybody. I am in total disagreement and want to be my son’s parent rather than his friend. An 11 year-old should not be smoking. Who’s right – me or my ex-husband?

Steelers Don’t Take Field For Anthem; Seahawks, Titans Skip Anthem: BuzzFeed claims the Pittsburgh Steelers did not take the field for the National Anthem before their game against the Bears yesterday. Stars React To Trump’s NFL Protest

Ellen DeGeneres: “As a football fan, I am proud of the NFL players today. Nothing is more American than the right to peacefully protest.”

George Lopez: “Standing in Unity, locked arms and standing proud (its suppose to be #takingaknee).”

Elisabeth Hasselbeck: “Notes on today, the @NFL and our #NationalAnthem -We have a leader that used bombastic hurtful language and that is not helpful. ( and in fact it is hurtful.) -We have a flag that represents our freedoms- which ironically includes protesting the very flag which permits that freedom. -Standing or kneeling is up to the heart of each citizen. Everyone’s reasons are different. That is what makes this country free. I stand for the flag and the national anthem because somewhere, each day a member of our military (regardless of gender, race, religion) IS STANDING for my freedom. For me: I stand because standing and placing my hand on my heart is the least I can do for those who stand each day for our liberty. – I kneel on both knees because I am praying for this country, its leaders and our children.”

Chelsea Handler: “I’m watching my first day of Sunday football today, because of you, so I would assume many more are doing the same. Racist.”

Pats Owner On Trump: Trump’s good friend, Patriots owner Robert Kraft, released a statement saying; ”I am deeply disappointed by the tone of the comments made by the President. Our players are intelligent, thoughtful, and care deeply about our community and I support their right to peacefully affect social change and raise awareness in a manner that they feel is most impactful.’’
