Alec Baldwin tells The Hollywood Reporter that Donald Trump supporters dislike him. ”Everywhere I go now, it’s, ‘Great job, Alec!’ It’s every cop on a horse, every hot dog vendor, every squirrel in the park, ‘Thank you.’ Then there’s a smaller band of people, who you can tell are Trump supporters. You get this look and you can just feel the hatred. There were these two construction workers smoking a cigarette on Broadway, and as I walk by, they go: ‘There he is, that f***ing asshole, Alec Baldwin. Doesn’t support our president. Don’t fall in the hole over there, Alec.”’

Fox TV CEO Dana Walden tells CNN that the network wanted to bring back American Idol in 2020. “Yes, it feels bad knowing it’s coming back on another network. We sat down with Fremantle just a month or two after the end of the show and they were determined to get this show back on the air as quickly as possible. Fox believed a 2020 return would give it an appropriate amount of time off the air. It felt to us that it would be extremely fraudulent to bring the show back so quickly — that our fans would not appreciate being told one thing and then have the show brought it back right away. We and Fremantle just had very different points of view. We did not see the fan excitement and enthusiasm for the show to come back that Fremantle did. We just had a different set of facts.”

You have to play it from funny, because when you play it from hate, it looks like you’re just being mean.”

Celebitchy, citing US Weekly, claims Kevin Hart’s wife allows him to gamble. The sites quote him as saying; “It keeps me from doing stupid things. I’m not a partier. I’m married, I have kids now, so this is something my wife — she’s OK with it. She knows where I am. I can sit there and I’m out of trouble. It’s been a hobby for quite some time and I think now, seeing the game and understanding the game at this level, it’s just been a different piece of added fun. To rub elbows with these guys I sit at the table with, the quote-unquote ‘pros’, for me has been a bonus. I say ‘quote-unquote’ because I’m mixing it up. I made it to day two, that’s a big deal for me. Technically, in my mind I won. Something I’ve been doing probably about 10 years.”
